Good Evening Wildcats,

We hope that everyone had a successful first week of the 2020-2021 school year!

BACK-TO-SCHOOL VIDEO
Thank you to everyone who took photos on the first day of school and shared with the PTA for the Back to School video. We hope you enjoy seeing these familiar faces as much as we do. Seeing so many holding up the "Zooming into the School Year" signs is a great reminder that we are all West Vincent, No Matter the Distance!

SPIRITWEAR AND BRACELET SALES
We are thrilled to announce that we have NEW WV/OJR spirit wear and custom WV/OJR PuraVida bracelets on sale now at www.westvincentpta.org! Proceeds benefit the WV PTA. You only have until September 27 at midnight to order your items so be sure to get yours soon. We will announce the details of when/where to pick up your items via our Facebook page and this Sunday email in early October. If you have any questions in regard to spirit wear please contact Katie Felmlee at katiefelmlee@gmail.com.

PTA MEMBERSHIP
Please remember to join the PTA before September 30th if your family would like a chance to Name the Lane at WVE. This is the circular drop-off lane directly in front of the school. If you join as a couple, you get two chances! The winner of this prize will be announced during our first PTA General meeting on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. We are all WV no matter if in blended or cyber classrooms and your support is needed now more than ever. 

READING INCENTIVE
The Reading Incentive Program is back virtually! Attached is this month’s calendar. You must read at least 20 minutes for the rest of the month.  Please be sure to have a parent or guardian sign (type) the form at the end of the month.  Email to WVReadingIncentiveProgram@gmail.com on the last day of the month and receive a reward shortly after. Most of all ENJOY YOUR BOOK!!!! Incentives may change monthly and can include coupons for Rita’s Water Ice, Freddy’s, Chick-Fil-A, Pretzel Factory and more!

SEPTEMBER PTA MEETING
Please join us virtually, via Zoom, for our next PTA meeting on September 22nd. Watch for the meeting link to be shared on our FB page and the West Vincent PTA webpage.

SPIRIT NIGHT AT FREDDY’S
Take a night off from cooking and treat your family to dinner at Freddy’s in Exton during our WVE Spirit Night. Dine in, drive thru, or takeout from Freddy’s on September 23rd from 4 – 8pm and 15% of their order proceeds will be donated to the West Vincent PTA. Please let the cashier know you are dining to support West Vincent.

Freddy’s is CDC compliant and takes the safety of their community seriously.  All staff and guests will be expected to wear a mask when entering the building and will be guided to stand within 6ft of each other when ordering and waiting.  There will be limited seating available inside and out on their patio or drive thru will be open and available as well.
