Student can explore the Arts with the National PTA Reflections Art Contest! Entries due Friday, October 3

With a few weeks left of summer vacation, why not have the kids let their creative juices flow?  The National PTA Reflections Art Contest takes place again this year and West Vincent Elementary is proud to be a part of it!

Choreograph a dance, produce a film, write a poem or story, compose a song, take a picture or create a piece of visual art and communicate your interpretation of the theme:

“The world would be a better place if…”

Entries are reviewed at local, regional, state and national levels and will be judged primarily on how well the student uses his or her artistic vision to portray the theme, originality and creativity.

Entries are due to West Vincent Elementary by the end of the school day on Friday, October 3, 2014.

Read more about the program, get forms for entries and see guidelines

No experience is required to participate in Reflections! Choose the arts category you’re interested in, create an original piece of artwork based on the theme: “The world would be a better place if…” and be recognized as an artist in your community.
