WVE PTA RETRO MOVIE NIGHT

The PTA will be showing “The Princess Bride” for Retro Movie Night this Friday, January 24. Doors will open at 6pm and the show will start at 6:30. Free popcorn, provided by Movie Tavern Exton, will be offered, and hot dogs and candy will be available for sale. Please bring your own blankets and chairs. If you are planning on attending we are asking that you please rsvp here. This is for headcount purposes only. Non-perishable food items will be collected for donation to the Coventry Food Pantry. This is optional but greatly appreciated!
WEST VINCENT ALL PRO DADS
Thank you to all those who helped and attended our first two All Pro Dads breakfasts! You are the reason we are the biggest chapter in PA!
The next (third) breakfast of the year is on Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 7:00-8:00 am in the WVES All-Purpose Room. The topic of discussion will be Courage.
Please RSVP HERE and if you are able to bring a food donation please SIGN UP HERE.
The final breakfast of the year will be held on March 26.
MARTIAL ARTS PROGRAM
Do you have a 1st, 2nd or 3rd grader interested in trying Martial Arts? You can sign up for a FREE 4-week Martial Arts program to take place at West Vincent Elementary School! Your students will be exposed to the basics of traditional Tang Soo Do under the instruction of Master Roy Kofroth and Bob Kofroth who have over 60 years of combined martial arts experience.
The course will be held on the following days: 2/4, 2/11, 2/18 and 2/25 immediately after school until 4:15 pm. Families will need to arrange to pick up their student(s). Registration is required and will be available on January 27th at 7pm at www.westvincentpta.org. Only 20 spots are available for this session.

READING INCENTIVE
The Reading Incentive winner for January is a tie! Congratulations to Ms. Hertzog and Mrs. Kulp who tied for 1st place while Mrs. Cohen came in a close 2nd place. Way to go 4th grade! Let’s see what class has the most readers for January. Happy Reading!
PTA BOARD MEMBERS NEEDED
The kids are getting older so many of our Board members will end their time on the Board at the end of this school year. We are looking for people to be the next generation of the WV PTA!! The bonus is, there is time to shadow a current member so the transition is seamless. The level of commitment varies. Contact Cindy Hutcheson if you would like to learn more or have any questions. This rewarding position is one you will truly enjoy!
