WVES PTA Communications 10/21/2018

Thanks so much to everyone who helped with the Wildcat Walk-a-Thon.  Everyone had an amazing time and a highlights video will be available soon.  This Tuesday we will announce our final tally and award all raffle, class and individual prizes.  We will share this info in our next Sunday email and on our PTA Facebook page.  

Thank you to all the dads that came out to the 1st All Pro Dad Breakfast this year!  It was a great turnout for a great event!  

There are 3 weeks left to turn in a project for the Reflections Art Contest!  Entries are due November 12th.  Please turn them in at the office with the Student Entry form. Rules for each category can be found on the website. The theme is Heroes Around Me. Please contact Lyn Noon if you have any questions.

In a partnership between the PTA and West Vincent Elementary School, we will be hosting the second breakfast of our Social Emotional Breakfast Series on Veteran’s Day, Friday, November 9 at 7:30-8:30am.  We will welcome Mr. Alex Fizz to speak to our school and larger community on gratitude, service, and giving back to the community and country.  This breakfast will invite veterans, parents, children, and staff to have a larger conversation about appreciation and service to others.  Mr. Fizz has traveled across the nation teaching parents, students, teachers, and administrations and helping to shape school curriculum throughout the state and country.  Please RSVP to the breakfast herehttps://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScmJT3_mSId6C4ct8691hBjn5iyWk5LVyb0JsAUl4LA_WFQEg/viewform?usp=sf_link
