Congratulations to Students who won Reflections Awards

The National PTA Reflections program is PTA’s cornerstone arts program. It was developed in 1969 to encourage students to explore their talents and express themselves. Since then, the Reflections Program has inspired millions of students to reflect on a specific theme and create original artwork. Each year, students in Grades Pre-K through 12 are recognized for bringing the theme to life through dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts.

Congratulations to all of the students who participated in this year’s National PTA Reflections program!  Entries were submitted in October and were judged first at the school level.  All of the West Vincent entries were sent on to further judging at the Regional level and those that qualified were then judged at the state level.  A total of 11,894 entries (covering each age and art category) were submitted by Pennsylvania students.   Two West Vincent entries received state awards.

School Awards will be presented at the end of the year assembly on June 13th.  The West Vincent gallery of artwork can be viewed below:

This program begins early in the school year.  Please watch for information regarding next years’ Reflections Program and the selected theme: “The World would be a better place if…”
