On Thursday, April 22, the West Vincent Elementary PTA will host an interactive PTA Connected: Ready, Tech, Go! program for parents and caregivers. Attendees will engage in meaningful peer-to-peer conversations about screen readiness, explore tools and resources for evaluating their family's digital habits, and gain practical ideas for promoting a healthy digital home. The program helps families build the knowledge and skills to use technology safely and responsibly right from the start.
Ready, Tech, Go! is part of a collaboration between National PTA and AT&T, bringing together AT&T's efforts to bridge the digital divide through internet accessibility, affordability, and safe adoption with National PTA's PTA Connected initiative. PTA Connected seeks to improve digital access and equity, digital safety and well-being, cybersecurity, and digital literacy for all children through tailored programs, community conversations, and shared resources. Since 2021, AT&T has committed $5 billion to help 25 million people get and stay connected to high-speed internet by 2030.
