Ready, set, start reading!!

Welcome to the WVES Reading Incentive Program: a fun, school-wide initiative that encourages students in all grades to develop a lifelong love of reading.

Each month, students are challenged to read for 20 minutes on 20 different days. Families then submit a reading log by the 7th of the following month to be entered into a raffle for a gift card prize. Participation is easy, completely optional, and a great way to celebrate consistent reading habits throughout the year.

Gift card prizes may include favorites like Barnes & Noble, Wellington Book Store, or Target, and winners are announced during morning announcements.

Reading logs are submitted online. Download the monthly log below and follow the instructions for submission.

Download a PDF and submit your completed log; submission instructions are included on both versions of the form.

The fillable PDF file (‘Download log - fill’ button) will open in a new browser tab and can be filled out in most browsers and downloaded to digitally sign. PDFs are best filled out in Acrobat, PDF Expert, or similar applications; Preview is not recommended. The plain PDF (‘Download log - plain’ button) is ideal for printing and filling out by hand.

Submit completed logs using the submission form or email them directly to reading@westvincentpta.org.
