FINAL WILDCAT WALK-A-THON RECAP
Congratulations and thank you, West Vincent, for making our 3rd annual Wildcat Walk-a-Thon our most successful to date. We are pleased to announce that our final tally for the 2019 Wildcat Walk-a-Thon is an incredible $40,066! The entire West Vincent community went above and beyond this year. Special thanks to our PTA Board, volunteers, teachers and staff, students, community sponsors and Mr. Smith for helping to make this happen. We can't wait to start our search for new playground equipment!

HOLIDAY SPIRIT WEAR SALE
Our Back to School spirit wear sale was so popular that we decided to run a second sale for holiday gift giving. You will find some repeat items as well as new tee shirt designs and cold weather gear, including hats and fleece jackets. The sale will run Wednesday, October 30-Thursday, November 14 at 3pm. No late orders will be accepted. All items will be delivered to your child's classroom approximately 3 weeks after the end date of the sale. If you purchase an item for a gift that you don't want your child to see, please contact Katie Felmlee for special delivery instructions at katiefelmlee@gmail.com. WEST VINCENT ON ICE
We don’t have school, so consider taking your kids ice skating. Join us on Tuesday, November 5 between 1:45 pm - 3:15 pm at Power Play Rinks (701 Haywood Dr., Exton, PA 19341). Cost is $7 per person and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the West Vincent PTA.
PTA GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Join us for the next PTA meeting where our special guest will be Dr. Susan Lloyd, Superintendent of OJR. Dr. Lloyd will answer all your questions pertaining to hot topics like Delayed Start, School Security and more. The meeting is Tuesday, November 12 at 6:30 pm in the WVES School Library.
BOOK FAIR
Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming the week of Nov. 11 - 15. Look for more details coming soon!
BRAIN SHOW FAMILY NIGHT
Save-the-Date and plan to join us Wednesday, November 13 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the WVES Auditorium for a free family event that is sure to please all ages - The Brain Show! Hundreds of thousands of people throughout the United States have experienced The Brain Show. The Brain Show is as close as you can get to a Real Live TV Game Show. See for yourself why parent/school organizations regard The Brain Show as the #1 educational school assembly and the #1 Family Fun Night event.
Our Book Fair will also be open from 5:30 - 8:30 pm on the night of our Brain Show event. Feel free to come early and browse for books!
FAMILY ARTS NIGHT
We hope you can join us for our West Vincent Family Arts Night on November 22 from 6:30 - 8:00. Hop Toad Studio will lead us in a canvas painting project that will create a family masterpiece! This event is open to all families with students at the school, but space is limited. Registration is required and is scheduled to go live on Monday, November 4 around 7:00pm. Please contact Anne Strawbridge with any questions. Hope you can join us!
Please note: Our registration system does not give an automatic confirmation. The confirmation will go out by Friday, November 9. As with all of our PTA events, there is no charge, but non-perishable food items will be collected for donation to the Coventry Food Pantry. This is optional but greatly appreciated!!
