Back to School Bash
Thank you to everyone who attended the Back to School Bash. Despite a little rain, we had a great time! Special thanks to the many volunteers who donated their time to help make this event a success! Events like this aren't possible without your help!
Family Directory
If you haven't yet done so, please take a moment to provide your family's information for our WV Family Directory - the deadline is this Friday. This is a FREE family directory that will be sent home with every family around the end of September. Your information will be included ONLY if you provide it. Please visit www.westvincentpta.org to submit your information.
--> And don't forget to Join the PTA as well! It is a great way to know what is going on at school. The cost is $7.50 per person.
Spirit wear Sale
West Vincent spirit wear is on sale now! If you missed picking up your spirit wear at Bash, you can buy tees at the Back to School Nights, this Tuesday and Wednesday. There is also a more extensive offering of West Vincent gear online. Please visit https://squareup.com/store/westvincent for hoodies, track jackets, sweat shirts, tees and more in kids and adult sizes. The online sale ends September 23. All purchases will be delivered to your child's classroom by the end of October. If you have any questions, contact Katie Felmlee.
Wildcat-Walk-a-Thon
We are thrilled to announce the return of the West Vincent Elementary Wildcat Walk-a-Thon! On Friday, your child should have brought home an envelope containing all you need to know about our largest fundraising event of the school year. Included in the envelope was a T-shirt order form. Every WV student, teacher and staff member will receive a free t-shirt to wear on Walk day but we need you to return the completed form to school by Friday, September 14 so we know the correct size of your student. We will continue to give updates about the Walk over the next month including details on prizes, how the fundraising is progressing and how you can help decide what happens to Mr. Smith if we reach our stretch goal! Mom's Night Out
Save the date - Friday, September 28, we will be hosting our first ever West Vincent Mom's Night Out. It will be held from 7-9pm at the rooftop at the Whole Foods Market in Exton. Appetizers and water will be provided. All other beverages must be purchased. This is a great opportunity to meet other moms in the West Vincent community. This event is open to 100 attendees. A sign up sheet will be available soon.
Box Tops for Education
The Fall Box Tops Challenge is on! Neatly clip Box Tops off the packaging of products you buy and send them to school by September 21st. The class that collects the most Box Tops will assume ownership of a special Box Tops Trophy and win a soft pretzel treat. Each year our PTA earns over $1000 through this program, so clip away!!
