The Annual Back to School Bash is this Friday, September 9th from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the school. Join us for this welcome back party – bring the whole family to meet new friends and catch up with those you haven’t seen all summer.
Get your name in this year’s Family Directory! The deadline to submit your information is Friday, September 16th. You choose what information you would like to appear in the directory. If you do not want to share your phone number, then don’t. This publication is for the private use of families in the West Vincent Elementary School. Enter your info here!
Did you know you can collect free money for West Vincent? Clip the Box Tops from hundreds of participating products and send them to school during our challenge weeks. Each one is worth 10¢ when our school redeems them from Box Tops for Education. Our first challenge, Back to School Pops for Tops, will be held Monday, September 12 thru Friday, September 16, 2016. Look for the handout in your child’s backpack next Monday, September 12th. Simply return the sheet by Friday, September 16th with 10 Box Tops and your child will receive a Tootsie Pop. Plus, West Vincent will receive $1.00 for every sheet returned! Continue to collect Box Tops throughout the year. We will have two more, bigger challenges later this fall and winter. WVES PTA’s International Night is coming soon! And although International Night is not until November 17th, the registration deadline is Monday, September 19th! International Night is a great opportunity to showcase your family’s background and to teach others in our community about the many cultures represented in our school.
