Earth Day 2014 at West Vincent Elementary will be Wednesday, May 7, 2014 — rain or shine! Please have your student dress to be outside and get their hands dirty. 

Grades 4-6 and AM Kindergarten will be working on:

• Cleaning up the Outdoor Classroom
• Rebuilding the rain garden at the front of the school
• Tasting and learning about organic vs non-organic fruits

If your child has an allergy to any types of fruits please notify your teacher and we will not serve your child, we will be serving mixed fruits and cannot guarantee any cross contamination. 

Grades K-3 will be:

• Planting in the gardens
• Making seed pods
• Tasting and learning about organic vs non organic fruits
• Building a Monarch Butterfly Waystation

Plant Donations
If you have any perennial plants you would like to donate, please drop off at the front of the school the morning of May 7th.
